Founded in June 1981 by its president Mr. Michel Boucher, the company has been located in St-Urbain-Premier since the beginning, where it now occupies a 25,000 sq.ft. factory. In 1999, EBSU a 75,000 sq.ft. warehouse to its facilities in St-Louis-de-Gonzague. Five years later, in 2004, another 15,000 sq.ft. factory was built to increase and improve production and better distribute resources.
EBSU also partners with three other manufacturers, providing access to and additional 80,000 sq.ft. of factory space for a total in excess of 180,000 sq.ft. This arrangement ensures the same quality of products as stipulated by our company, while at the same time allowing for greater stability due to market fluctuations and sales increases. Nearly 100 employees strive daily to uphold EBSU’s reputation, not counting the orders to our partners.
In 1988, the company began offering ready-to-assemble bathroom cabinets. Initially marketed by Plomberie Plus Inc, these vanities were the only ready-to-assemble products offered until 1999. It was then that our custom kitchens gave way to the first ready-to-assemble kitchens, allowing us to break into a new market that propelled EBSU into the heart of this trend. Today, the company offers over a dozen ready-to-assemble collections through our many distributors and retailers to meet all of our clients’ needs.
Our mission is to develop and manufacture quality products and competitive prices, as well as provide innovative products specifically designed to meet our clients’ needs.
